Trinity Petroleum Services coordinates the fuel supply journey, from terminal access through to transport, delivery, storage and ongoing customer support. Our logistics model combines Trinity-operated fleet capability with a network of experienced third-party carriers, giving us direct local control alongside scalable capacity, additional transport configurations and geographic flexibility.

This means our capability is not constrained by the size of our owned fleet alone. We can coordinate the right combination of product, equipment, transport and people around the requirements of each customer.

Logistics and delivery

Our local team works closely with customers to coordinate delivery schedules around site access, operating requirements and changing circumstances. Whether managing regular deliveries or responding to an unexpected requirement, we focus on finding practical solutions that keep our customers operating.

Trinity’s delivery capability includes road trains, 19-metre and truck-and-dog combinations. Our company-operated fleet is supported by experienced contract carriers, allowing us to match the transport solution to the volume, location and delivery requirements of each customer.

By combining local knowledge, flexible scheduling and established transport capability, Trinity provides reliable and cost-effective bulk fuel and lubricant deliveries across the regions we currently service.

Storage and fuel management

Depending on the customer requirement, Trinity can support fuel storage, dispensing, telemetry and inventory management solutions designed to provide greater visibility of fuel stocks and reduce the risk of unexpected shortages.

Fuel supply

Trinity can supply bulk diesel, unleaded, 95, 98, and aviation fuel, along with AdBlue and associated fuel storage and dispensing solutions.

Oils and lubricants

Trinity can supply Mobil and Sinopec oils and lubricants.

Built for mining

Mining fuel supply is a production-critical service.

Remote locations, changing consumption, weather, site access requirements, shutdowns, equipment movements and production schedules can all affect when and how fuel needs to arrive. A supplier needs to understand more than fuel. It needs to understand the operating environment around it.

Trinity has experience supporting mining operations across regional and remote Queensland, including customers consuming significant volumes of diesel each month. Our role is to work with the customer to build a supply model that supports continuity of operations, rather than asking their operation to fit around a standard delivery model.

Before supply commences, we work with customers to understand the fundamentals of their operation, including:

Mobilise

Where a new supply arrangement is being established, Trinity coordinates the operational requirements needed to commence supply, including product availability, logistics, equipment requirements, inductions, scheduling and communication.

Operate

 Once supply is underway, our team coordinates forecasting, ordering, scheduling and delivery around agreed customer requirements.

Adapt

 Mining does not operate in a perfectly straight line.

Demand can move. Production plans change. Roads close. Weather intervenes. Equipment fails. Shutdowns move.

When circumstances change, Trinity's local team can assess alternative supply and logistics options, coordinate the appropriate response and keep the customer informed.

Improve

Strong fuel supply relationships should continue to improve over time. Regular customer engagement provides an opportunity to review delivery performance, safety, reporting, storage, consumption and changing operational requirements. The objective is simple: help ensure fuel supply supports the operation rather than becoming something the operation has to worry about.

Safety and compliance

Safe fuel transport requires disciplined management of people, vehicles and operating requirements.

Trinity's approach incorporates relevant dangerous goods requirements, driver competency, fatigue management, Chain of Responsibility obligations and customer site requirements. Trinity is ISO 9001 compliant and NHVR-Accredited.

Product assurance

Product sourcing, terminal access, transport and delivery processes are managed to protect product integrity throughout the supply chain.

Marine Bunkering

Trinity Petroleum have over 30 years’ experience in supplying marine fuels to luxury and commercial vessels.

Trinity Petroleum are also stockists of Mobil and Sinopec lubricant products, and can source other specific oils as requested.

Whilst Cairns and Townsville are the primary marine area supplied, Trinity Petroleum can assist with fuel bunkering Australia wide.

Marine Refuelling Options

• Re-fuelling at: Sailfish Quay, Trinity Wharf 1-6 (please contact Ports North for Berthing arrangements) and Port of Townsville
• Truck Bunkering at all Cairns Shipyards
• De-bunkering as required for maintenance works and shipyard repairs
• Other fuels such as Unleaded, Avgas and Jet A1 are available for bunkering to ensure tenders and toys have sufficient fuel.
