Driving and navigating a triaxle semi-trailer through an onroad obstacle course and identifying a series of defects on a stationary truck has earned our fleet manager Chris Johnson and driver Ian Slater a major award. The pair from Trinity Petroleum competed against teams from Hong Kong, Singapore, Fiji, Papua New Guinea and New Zealand at the Asia Pacific Fleet "Roadeo" in Rotorua in October 2014, held by ExxonMobil to recognise the value and skills of hauler drivers.Chris and Ian's skills earned them second place in the biannual competition behind the local favourites from Allied Petroleum. Their high standing in the competition is another example of Trinity Petroleum staff excelling on a global level.Well done to Chris and Ian!
As a company, Trinity Petroleum is dedicated to supporting community organisations and various charities. Many of our staff are also dedicated to helping others in need, and when it comes to raising funds for charities one Mobil Innisfail staff member has excelled himself! Patrick Gilby from our Mobil Innisfail outlet raised an amazing $2300 for the Leukaemia Foundation in the World's Greatest Shave fundraising drive in March 2015. A great job Patrick for a great cause!
